The following terms apply to your use of this document and your agreement to these terms is required
before you are permitted to obtain a copy of this document. The sample policy has been developed for
companies incorporated in the United States, subject to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(“GAAP”) with a subscription-based business model. You acknowledge and agree that the making available of these documents do not constitute accounting
advice or any special relationship between you and SaaSOptics, LLC (“SaaSOptics”). When developing
your accounting policy, you should seek advice from a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”), attorney,
or other qualified professional with expertise in revenue recognition accounting before relying on this
document. You further agree and acknowledge that the document has not been prepared with your specific business
circumstances in mind, may not be suitable for use in your business, and does not constitute accounting
advice. This document is not meant to cover the entirety of the Accounting Standards Codification
(“ASC”) Topic 606 (“ASC 606”) or other topics which may apply to your company. There may be
certain provisions of ASC 606 which apply to your company which are not discussed below. You should
